Market Mechanics & Execution Info

Platform Timezone Synchronization

Our trading servers utilize Eastern European Time (EET). The system shifts automatically between GMT+2 during winter and GMT+3 during summer daylight saving periods. This specific offset prevents a data anomaly known as “weekend candles” by forcing weekly market openings to align precisely with the 17:00 EST session start in New York.

Scheduled Liquidity Breaks

Certain financial markets implement brief daily trading breaks. During these dark windows, pricing feeds pause, and order placement, modification, or liquidations become unavailable. Please note that market spreads typically widen during the minutes immediately leading into and exiting a scheduled break due to thinner participant volume.

Corporate Actions & Dividends

Hedged or standard exposures on Equity CFDs are subject to cash adjustments relating to underlying dividend schedules:Long Positions: Accounts maintaining buy positions through the close of the session immediately preceding the ex-dividend date will receive a proportional dividend credit.Short Positions: Accounts maintaining sell positions through the close of the session immediately preceding the ex-dividend date will incur a corresponding dividend debit.

Risk Mitigation During Market Illiquidity

During extreme calendar holidays or low-volume global events, liquidity providers may severely reduce market depth. Under these conditions, INFINOX reserves the right to toggle affected instruments to “Close Only” settings or increase margin variables temporarily to safeguard client assets from slip risks.
